Calendar Reminders need to be set up

Items to add to calendar:

  • Maintance reminders
    • repainting of speed bumps and stop bars, at least once a year
    • road repairs / pot hole remediation schedule
    • sign repairs
    • add to the reminder to make a post on the website when these take place.
  • Meeting calendar event
  • Minutes reminder
  • Sign change reminder
  • Thank you email after meeting
  • Annual membership meeting (check bylaws for when that meeting needs to take place)
  • new year celebration?
  • last day of school celebration event
  • yard sale (spring)
  • hot summer bbq
  • back to school celebration event
  • Halloween celebration event
  • yard sale (fall)
  • xmas celebration event/li>
  • community inspection annual, inspect all the areas that we own / are responsible for, file tickets for things that need to happen
  • domain / website / email renewals – note to do them early, do them manually before the due date to catch any issues
  • Verify church is available
  • Annual meeting
  • Quarterly board meetings
    • reminders for when the sign needs to be updated, emails sent out, and calendar event created.
    • setup zoom for these as well.
    • 48 hour prior and 24 hour hour prior reminders
  • Twice a year yard sale
  • Halloween event
  • Christmas event
  • monthly: back up database (with instructions)
  • Annual Website content audit:
    • vendors
    • board members
    • Contracts / agreements
    • rules
    • homeownership status, check the tax website to see fi they still own the home, include steps to follow on how to do this on the invite.

Questions:

    • Add calendar to HOA website? embed it in the sidebar or on it’s on page?
    • set up events on public calendar as recurring (website!)
    • set up events on board only calendar with a prep time of 30 days, might
    • need to be a different event as the reminder
    • we’ll need more than just calendar events to remind people of things:
      • texts
      • fb event
      • e-mail
      • website
