CARES Funding to Support Residents Impacted by COVID-19
Today, the City of Tallahassee announced that residents impacted by COVID-19 may apply for up to $15,000 in assistance for home repairs. The City CARES Home Repair Program (CCHRP), which was approved by the Mayor and City Commissioners at last week’s workshop, utilizes state CARES Act funding to help stabilize and preserve the homes of Tallahassee residents. The program aims to improve the living conditions of low- and moderate-income households affected by COVID-19 by removing health and safety hazards and/or architectural barriers from their homes.
Applications are now being accepted at Talgov.com/Housing.
